On June 8, Kevin Millwood threw out the first pitch officially opening the Kevin Millwood Texas Rangers Ballpark at the National Semiconductor Sports Complex. The ballpark located at 2011 Wynn Terrace will support Boys & Girls Clubs programs that include healthy lifestyles, team building, and game fundamentals.

Kevin Millwood and the Texas Rangers Foundation have made a significant investment to improve the lives of more than 6,000 low-income children,” said Steve A. Wurm, president of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Arlington. “Teaching our members about responsible behavior and decision making through the game of baseball is awonderful thing.”

On hand for the opening were Karin Morris from the Texas Rangers, Scott Kahl from National Semiconductor, Arlington Councilman Jimmy Bennett, and Steve Hambrick, chair of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Arlington board of directors.
